For group events, Wabasis Lake Park offers two picnic areas each with a grill and seating for 120 people, as well as an enclosed shelterhouse and an open picnic shelter.

The enclosed shelter was built in 1999 with a cathedral-style wood interior, a full kitchen, large restrooms and a fieldstone fireplace. The rear porch overlooks Wabasis Lake and the building is surrounded by a grove of tall oaks.

The open shelter includes a double grill, seats up to 120, and is a short walk from parking, restrooms, a playground, a basketball court and a ball diamond.
