The Open Shelter is located at the center of the park surrounded by young trees in a bright, sunny area. The Open Shelter is approximately 30’ x 50’ in dimension and comes with 15 eight-foot picnic tables. This shelter has a capacity of 125 guests. There is electric service to the open shelter. There are a water spigot and a double, charcoal grill available for your use. There is a paved path from the parking lot to the shelter.

The nearest restroom facilities are located about 200 feet to the north. Each bathroom has one barrier-free stall in addition to other facilities. There are cold water sinks available in each. The playground is 100 feet south of the shelter, near the creek. There is a softball field located nearby.
