Beach & Splashpad
There’s no need to go all the way to Lake Michigan when the beach at Millennium Park is on a clear 100 acre lake, with a well-marked swimming area. It’s the perfect place to soak up some sun or cool down on a hot summer day, and it’s only minutes away from Grand Rapids!

Pets are not allowed in the beach area. Trained service dogs are welcome.
Facilities
The VanAndel Beach House features a concession stand with hot food, snacks and frozen treats. The beach house also offers locker and changing rooms, restrooms and picnic tables on the plaza.
Boat Rentals
Boat rentals are also available adjacent to the beach.2>
Splashpad
Kids can be kids at the Mehney Splashpad! More than a dozen sprayers, buckets, splashers and other water features promise fun for all ages, from toddlers on up.
