Creekside Park offers picnic areas, ball fields and playgrounds and also serves as a trailhead for the Fred Meijer M-6 Trail. It’s a great place to schedule an outdoor group event, with easy access to the city, while still retaining that relaxing rural feeling.
Baseball and softball diamonds, playgrounds, horseshoe courts, and an open picnic area make this park a great space for warm weather activities for the whole family. Bike riders will also enjoy the trailhead to the Fred Meijer M-6 Trail accessible from the park’s north parking lot.

Picnics & Group Events
For reservations, Creekside Park offers an open picnic shelter and one group picnic area. Both facilities are located near a playground and a restroom building. We also have horseshoe pits near the open shelter. The picnic area and open shelter both have enough picnic tables to accommodate about 125 people.
Baseball & Softball
This park includes two back-to-back ball diamonds at its north end. Both are open for public use.
Two horseshoe courts are located next to the open picnic shelter.
You’ll find two playgrounds at Creekside Park – One is located adjacent to the ball diamonds in the northern section of the park and the other is between the picnic area and the park’s open shelter.
Trailhead for Fred Meijer M-6 Trail
Creekside Park is an trailhead for your excursions on the Fred Meijer M-6 Trail. A 0.4 mile connecting trail extends from the north parking lot to the M-6 Trail.
A paved trail loop winds through the southern end of the park for one-third of a mile, in addition to another scenic trail that crosses a creek and connects the two sections of the park.
