Though our parks officially “close” on October 31st, we are trying to keep some gates and facilities open until the weather turns, or until the end of November, whichever comes first. Please remember that even if a park area is listed as “open”, all of our parks close at sunset, which is pretty early this time of year! Here is an up to date list of park areas that are open now:
Brewer Park: Back gate to disc golf is closed for the season but the front lot and restrooms are open
Caledonia Park: Gate and restrooms are open
Creekside Park: Gate and restrooms are open
Douglas Walker Park: gates and restrooms open
Dutton Shadyside Park: South lot is closed for the season but park and restrooms are open
Dwight Lydell Park: Park and restrooms open
Fallasburg Park: Gates and “C restrooms” are closed, parking lot near maintenance garage is open and so are the Enclosed Shelter restrooms
Long Lake Park: All restrooms are closed.
Luton Park: Gates and restrooms open
Myers Lake Park: Drive-In gate and restrooms closed, Walk-In gate open
Palmer Park: Gates and restrooms are open
Pickerel Lake Nature Preserve: Gates and restrooms open
Rogue River Park: Gates and restrooms open
Townsend Park: Gates and “C” restroom closed, Enclosed Shelter Restroom open
Wabasis Park: Park gates and most buildings locked, boat launch restrooms and “C” area restrooms open
Wahlfield: Gates and restrooms open
