COVID-19 Updates

What is the refund policy if I would like to cancel my reservation due to COVID-19?
We are offering full refunds for all cancellations due to COVID-19.

Are the public restrooms be open?
YES. Restrooms are open at all Kent County Parks. We have enhanced cleaning protocols in place.

Are playgrounds open?
YES. Playgrounds are open but are not sanitized. Signs are posted to indicate this.

Are the beaches be open?

YES. Long Lake, Millennium, Myers Lake, & Wabasis Lake are open for the season.

Is the Splash Pad open at Millennium Park?

Can I host an event at the Enclosed Shelter?

NO. At this time the enclosed shelters are CLOSED until further guidance from the Governor's Office. 

Can I host an event at the Open Shelter?
YES. You must keep your group at 100 people or less. Users must use social distancing.

Can I host a picnic at a picnic area?
YES. You must keep your group to 100 people or less. Users must use social distancing.

Can I disc golf at Brewer Park, Fallasburg Park, or Johnson Park?
YES. Disc golf is open.

When will the Wabasis Campground be open?
Wabasis Lake Park & Campground will be opening June 12th.

Are the boat rentals available at Millennium Park?

Are drinking fountains open?
No. Please plan accordingly. 

Am I able to make reservations for camping this year?
Yes. Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance. We only reserve 75% of our sites. The 25% of sites available are on a first come first serve basis.

What are the new check-in and check-out times for the cabin/cottage at Wabasis?

We have adjusted the times by an hour to allow our staff enough time to clean the facilities thoroughly.
     Check-in: 4 pm
     Check-out: 10 am

Will there be a Summer Nature Series at Wabasis Campground this year?
No, unfortunately, they have been canceled for this summer.
