Student Volunteer Projects
Individual high school and college students often support Kent County Parks to fulfill requirements for service hours, to learn more about environmental support initiatives, to complete research projects, or to be part of a volunteer team that’s making a difference!
Individual Student Projects
Volunteer Options for Students
Students can do any of the following:
- Register for one of the many scheduled annual project dates
- Sign up for the Park and Trail Steward Program
- Volunteer on a self managed basis for a park or trail project that fits with their own schedule

Kent County Parks Student Volunteers are asked to provide signed Waiver and Release forms and to submit their service hours to Volunteer Services on a weekly or monthly basis. A service letter and/or volunteer records form will be submitted to the student, if requested, after completion of service.
Student Volunteers under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during project service and must submit a parent/guardian signed Minor Waiver.
