Oak Barrens Support Project at Seidman Park!

Help protect the unique Oak Barren habitat site at Seidman Park! Volunteers will participate in a variety of projects, such as invasive species removal, trash clean-up, a BioBlitz, and more to protect this natural treasure. This event is great for volunteers of all ages and groups of all sizes!

Note that meet up will be in the north parking lot off of Honey Creek Ave. A map with directions will be sent to registrants prior to the project day.

Registration is required. Please click the “Register” button to sign up.

NOTE: Projects are not canceled for light rain, but they may be delayed or canceled for heavy rain or weather advisories. Please dress for the weather and pack personal items such as water bottles, insect repellent, etc. We strongly recommend wearing long pants and work shoes or boots to all events. All tools and supplies, including light work gloves, will be provided on site. Waiver forms will be available on site, or groups/organizations may submit a waiver prior to the event date. Any child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or designated organization leader for the duration of the event. Although leashed pets are welcome at most parks, pets (except for service animals) are not permitted at volunteer events due to safety concerns.
