Girl Scout Tree Promise at Luton Park!

Kent County Parks is partnering with the Girl Scouts for the Girl Scout Tree Promise- an incredible initiative to plant 5 million trees in five years! Scouts of all ages are welcome to join us at Luton Park to help plant trees and achieve this goal! Come on out, get some fresh air, and enjoy the park!

NOTE: Projects are not canceled for light rain, but they may be delayed or canceled for heavy rain or weather advisories. Please dress for the weather and pack personal items such as water bottles, insect repellent, etc. We strongly recommend wearing long pants and work shoes or boots to all events. All tools and supplies, including light work gloves, will be provided on site. Waiver forms will be available on site, or groups/organizations may submit a waiver prior to the event date. Any child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or designated organization leader for the duration of the event. Although leashed pets are welcome at most parks, pets (except for service animals) are not permitted at volunteer events due to safety concerns.
