Help remove Garlic Mustard from habitats throughout Palmer Park! Garlic Mustard is an invasive species that’s toxic for native plant species and detrimental to native habitats. A short workshop on how to ID and remove this invasive species is included. Or, volunteers can support a spring clean-up on trails, playgrounds, and around picnic areas! Great for volunteers of all ages and groups of all sizes!

Registration is required. Please click the “Register” button to sign up.

NOTE: Projects are not canceled for light rain, but they may be delayed or canceled for heavy rain or weather advisories. Please dress for the weather and pack personal items such as water bottles, insect repellent, etc. We strongly recommend wearing long pants and work shoes or boots to all events. All tools and supplies, including light work gloves, will be provided on site. Waiver forms will be available on site, or groups/organizations may submit a waiver prior to the event date. Any child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or designated organization leader for the duration of the event. Although leashed pets are welcome at most parks, pets (except for service animals) are not permitted at volunteer events due to safety concerns.
